Boxing Comedy
Season 2, Episode 3: The Hard-Luck Kid!
A Fairytale of Newark written and directed by Keith Suta!
Manny Midman is the saddest of sad sacks: living in the basement of Our Lady of Blessed Austerity Orphanage, working four jobs, and caring for his deaf and blind terrier Nippers. Manny should be miserable, but isn't -- because he loves boxing. He's terrible at it; but he loves it. When the Mob shows up to buy the orphanage and turn it into a nightclub, it's up to Manny to save the day by entering a boxing tournament -- with the help of an unconventional coach, he learns the real secret to success in boxing is having the saddest life story! Join us as we bring you an underdog story that will shamelessly tug at your heartstrings and deliver plenty of comedic punches!
